PhotoCalc Pro
Effective Date: August 20, 2026
Depth-of-field calculations, camera kits, saved plans, preferences, and the values you enter for them remain on your device. PhotoCalc Pro does not require an account.
Measurement is off by default. If you explicitly turn it on in onboarding or Settings, the app sends an Apple Ads attribution token for server-side validation and limited milestone names: qualified depth-of-field use, paywall view, eligible introductory-trial start, or verified lifetime purchase. The app does not send camera or lens data, calculation values, an account, IDFA, a device identifier, a receipt, or raw IP address in its payload.
After successful validation, the server issues an opaque measurement handle with a 14-day active lifetime. It stores only a one-way digest of that handle with raw records so a deletion request can reach any still-raw event; it never stores the plaintext handle. The app may retain the opaque value locally for up to 44 days from bootstrap (the 14-day active lifetime plus the maximum 30-day raw-event window) solely to make a deletion request; it does not send events after the active lifetime and clears the retained value when it next runs after that window. Turning measurement off immediately clears the local setting and sends that best-effort request to delete linked raw records. If the request cannot reach the service, raw attributed records are scheduled for deletion or reduction to daily country/campaign totals after their 30-day raw-retention window by a daily job; an outage can delay that job.
Network providers may process network-address information to deliver a request; PhotoCalc Pro does not store raw IP address in its application measurement database.
Purchases are processed by Apple. PhotoCalc Pro receives entitlement status but does not receive your payment details. If optional measurement is enabled, it can send only the applicable verified milestone name described above, never a receipt or payment data.
